"And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light". (Genesis 1:2-3, KJV). I just want to reference the verse preceding these verses, where it says that God created the heaven and earth (Gen1:1). So if in the beginning God created the heaven and earth, where then did the darkness upon the face of the deep come from? The scripture did not enumerate what may have transpired in between verse one and two, but I want to share my opinion that what may have happened was the downfall of satan, what do you think?
