Today is an ordinary Friday in the lives of many, just as it were in the lives of many on that day. The day that heaven and earth bore witness to the greatest love ever. Today is Good Friday as designated by the Christian faith and observed by many believers around the world. We in the Christendom mark the Passion of our LORD JESUS CHRIST, the bedrock of our belief. This Good Friday is reminiscence of the first Good Friday as the scripture has it in John 1:11 that "He came to his own, and his own received him not", yes they received him not because they were not sure of who he really was. Well, even after two thousand years, many people have not received him because they are still not sure of who he really is, but only time will tell and every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that JESUS CHRIST is indeed who he says he is. Thankfully for me and many other believers on the face of the earth, we believe that he is who he says he is, THE SON OF GOD, THE LAMB OF GOD, THE GREAT LION OF THE TRIBE OF JUDAH, THE DEFENDER OF THE WEAK, THE TRUTH, THE WAY, THE LIGHT, THE REDEEMER, THE DELIVERER, THE ROSE OF SHARON, THE LILLY OF THE VALLEY, THE GOOD SHEPHERD, THE HEALER, THE SAVIOR, THE ATONEMENT, THE NEW COVENANT, THE GREAT I AM, and lastly but not the least THE WORD which was in the beginning with GOD and was GOD. Halleluiah!
As darkness increases in the world, the bearers of light are supposed to even become more illuminated and visible, but for some explainable reason some of the bearers of light are are beginning to fall away. The explainable reason some believers are indirectly denying Christ and joining forces with the kingdom of darkness is because they have fallen into the snare of deception. We were forewarned about the man of lawlessness who shall bring about the falling away (read 2 Thessalonians 2), and Christ Himself informed us in Matthew 24:24 that if possible the elect shall fall into the snare of deception by the false christs and false prophets. There is alarming proliferation of false prophets everywhere, working hand in glove with the false christ, and the true Bride of Christ needs to be on the alert. This is not the time for us to be ensnared by church theatrics or prowess, let us get into the habit of testing every spirit as we were instructed in 1 John 4:1, even in our personal l...
